ABOUT US...
• Family owned and operated since 1958, our company is not just bricks and mortar, merchandise and signs. The Palace is a store full of people working together to create valuable and memorable experiences for every customer that walks in our doors; that is our philosophy. Today, our company hardly resembles our first small store on Commercial Row, but our values still remain.
• In March of 1958, Dennis and Joan Mack embarked on their road to business success by purchasing a tiny gift shop with a pawn license on East Commercial Row in Reno, Nevada, by the name of Palace Jewelry & Loan Company.
• Soon thereafter, a merger with Royal and Madeline Goodsell, Joan’s parents, took place, forming a most compatible and enduring partnership.
• After over 60 years, two moves, and three expansions, “The Palace” stands above the competition in both individuality and vision. Though the city and its people have certainly changed in that time, our philosophy remains the same… “Even with a store full of treasures, none are so valued as our customers and employees.”
• We are now located at 300 North Virginia Street, Reno, Nevada 89501! Right across the street from the Eldorado Hotel and Casino with free parking right behind the store.
