The collector Forrest Fenn, 89, was responsible for hiding and creating clues that would lead to the treasure. They hid a total of 9 tips in a 24-verse poem published in their memoir in 2010. That is, anyone could follow them, and that is what happened. Since that decade passed, many have ventured into the search, but the man who found the chest valued at US $ 1 million, and who did not want to identify himself, proved it by sending a photo of the discovery to Fenn . The correct final location was a point in the Rocky Mountains, stretching from New Mexico to British Columbia.
